Porters Garage Inc.

I've been coming to see Steve here for over 25 years. This is the most honest garage I've ever found. I definitely recommend Porters!!

Very honest shop! Went in for a lower ball joint repair because Toyota told me it needed to be replaced. They quoted me 760 dollars for the repair and an alignment. Decided that maybe a dealership is overcharging me, so I took it here and they called me back within 2 hours to tell me not a single issue is wrong with anything in the suspension system. They said there’s a bit of moisture but besides that the lower ball joint replacement isn’t needed. They saved me a whole lot of money by being honest and they’ll have a customer for life

Dave Puckett knows his way around my classic 1969 VW Beetle, I will be back for some more work.

Took my vehicle in for the engine light Diagnostic. He fixed things on my vehicle that had nothing to do with the engine light. When picking up my vehicle it started hard, when I got home the light came back on. I was charged over 630 dollars. He changed 1 engine coil that cost 40 dollars. And one sensor . Then started fixing things that had nothing to do with the electrical. I don’t recommended this place. When I called the next morning he said bring it back . He didn’t say he would make it right . Not happy about the overcharge. And him just fixing things that had nothing to do with the light staying on.

Recently, my daughter moved to Riverside to attend UC Riverside. Her starter on her Honda broke down. I live in Palmdale so I researched several shops in her area. Porters had great reviews. When I called, these guys were amazing. Steve and Dave took care of my daughter's car and gave us a very fair price on parts and labor. Had her car ready very quickly and seemed very honest and upfront.I was very pleased. Thank you Steve and Dave !!!
